Wow, who would have thought we’d ever see the great Muhammad Ali featured in a martial arts series? As odd as it may seem, the way the writers angled it was quite interesting and perhaps even honorable. They paid their respect to our transitioned legend in a way that seemed fitting and still in line with the plot of the show. If you appreciate a good Baki fight, this is a must watch episode. The fusion of American and Japanese culture is historic. Scenes like this make you wonder why we don’t collaborate with our Japanese brethren more?
