Malcolm-Emilio and Streetwear Brand Anwar Carrots to Launch Capsule Collection

The collection will be supported by a pop-up at Bird’s Nest Workshop in Los Angeles on May 23rd.

Original man of creation Malcolm-Emilio and streetwear designer Anwar Carrots are launching a capsule collection.

The limited-edition collection, comprised of short- and long-sleeved T-shirts, and an eco-tote bag featuring printed graphics and designs, serves as a potent reminder to the community regarding “What We Need” to heal through tough times.

Malcolm was approached for the partnership and said the offer was “within divine universal alignment.” The collaboration is the first of more collections to come between the two.

“We wanted Anwar to give his take on wellness, and to approach the collections the same way he does with Carrots,” said @Stay_Relevant founder Malcolm-Emilio. “We’re huge fans of Anwar’s work and are excited to have him bring his signature production capacity to this line, and further connect our community to the @Stay_Relevant lifestyle.”

Art collectors from around the world are familiar with Malcolm’s original works collection. He is often commissioned to make one of one pieces for plant-based brands, music artists, actors, hospitals and community centers. The self-taught painter launched his career by painting in the street.

“It’s been a fulfilling prophecy,” said Emilio. “Coming from the professional skate world to the art industry was definitely a change but here we are, moving with plancestral guidance and protection. Business in 2020 was a transition with galleries closing, but hopes are high once indoor spaces completely open up again.”

The @Stay_Relevant, Anwar Carrots collection launches exclusively on the Carrots shop on May 23rd and at the Bird’s Nest Workshop in Los Angeles on Sunday on May 23rd 11am – 7pm.
